Sclerotherapy
(Thread vein removal)

Sclerotherapy is a treatment used to reduce the appearance of thread veins in the legs. It is essentially an irritant that is injected into each thread vein which causes the vein to become sticky and eventually close off. 

It can only be used on the legs and the severity and amount of thread veins will depend on how many treatments may be needed. Some thread veins disappear immediately, others take longer to disappear, some only fade and some remain unchanged. 

Not everyone is suitable to have this treatment so a full face to face consultation will be needed first.
